The holiday villa has a large (2000 m2) fenced garden with pine trees, green oaks, mimosas and abundant flowers. From a very safe wooden stairway you can walk down to the sea and enjoy a peaceful swim, snorkeling or / and scuba diving, windsurfing or sunbathing.

The beautiful small harbour of Niel, (the reason for the name of the villa ‘Lune de Niel’) two minutes walk down the street, is the perfect place to bring your boat, which you can easily hire in Hyeres: boat is the best way to visit the Golden Islands of Porquerolles, Port Cros and Levant.

From the ruins of the castle of the charming village of Giens, just two minutes drive away, you can see a 360 degrees view of Toulon, through Hyeres and round to the Islands. Very Provencal in style, Giens will surprise you with its very good food shops and excellent wine shop in addition to all its other amenities. The town Market, on Tuesday morning, is a special event not to miss.

The large beaches along the peninsula, Almanarre beach (to the West) and Bergerie Beach (to the East) are two of the best of the Cote Varoise. Almanarre beach is one of the best spots for Funboards during West winds. Bergerie Beach often has the warmer water of the area, as it is a shallower beach. The shelded beach at the harbour of Niel is perfect for families with young children, the water is clean and shallow.

'Lune de Niel' is only 15 minutes away from the Toulon/Hyeres Airport, and two hours from Nice Airport or Marseille Airport. The TGV train stops in Hyeres, and the …. Motorway passes through. In other words, it is an easy place to get to.

Ferries run frequently in the area, so you can comfortably visit the three renowned Jewels of the Cote d'Azur, either from Tour Fondue or Hyeres Harbour.
